Born and raised in North Carolina, he has a special appreciation for the Appalachian Mountains that we call home. He trained at the North Carolina School of Advanced Bodywork where he received a strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy as well as how common, repetitive actions can drastically change a person's experience of their body and the world around them. He uses each client's skeletal position, everyday movements, body history, personal pain threshold, and many other factors to form a plan of treatment specific to the individual. He uses many modalities, including but not limited to Structural Assessment, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Passive and Active Stretching, and Cupping. Having many tools in his tool belt, Ben approaches issues in the body from different angles to find the optimum solution to the problem.
